As Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at PAREXEL, Sean is responsible setting the global marketing, communications and customer experience strategy and operational plans. Sean has anchored his team to become a central strategic asset in the company’s growth agenda through establishing best in class performance standards, talent development and technological capabilities.

An accomplished Marketing executive with more than twenty years of healthcare marketing experience, Sean has particular expertise in leadership, diagnostics, services, informatics, medical devices and therapeutics. He is a Leadership Team member with proven results in consistently developing robust growth strategies and achieving successful execution at top companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Medtronic, Smith & Nephew, Philips and PAREXEL.

Sean has extensive experience in global strategy, solution development, mergers and acquisitions, transformations, developing high performance teams, brand, product and portfolio management. He has successfully implemented several break-through accomplishments, such as direct-to-consumer healthcare marketing and industry leading therapies, including transcatheter heart valves and healthcare informatics.

Sean earned his B.A. in Chemistry and an MBA in Marketing, both from Rutgers. He has completed Advance management training courses at Wharton, Northwestern, Notre Dame and the University of Chicago. He developed German fluency while completing a 4.5 year expatriate management assignment in Germany. He has served on board of directors, is published and a patent holder. Sean has been a speaker at numerous professional and trade events. Sean lives outside of Boston with his wife and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys coaching basketball and soccer, staying in shape and improving his golf game.
